Chomsky: 911 Inside Job Highly Unlikely

Noam Chomsky was asked recently if he thought 911 was an inside job. He makes some valid points.

I believe 9/11 was an inside job.
Valid points? This is retarded. “If it would have leaked, they would have been before firing squads and that would be the end of the Republican Party forever.” Has this guy become a total shill, or is he just totally clueless of America’s own textbook modern history? What happened when Major General Smedley Butler testified to the McCormack-Dickstein Committee on the White House Putsch in 1934? Nothing. No firing squads, no whistles, no slaps on the wrist, nothing. The Committee agreed that sufficient evidence had been provided to show that the plot existed, but no prosecutions or even further investigations followed.
“…even if it were true, which is extremely unlikely, who cares, I mean it doesn’t have any significance anyway.”
Are you kidding me? The evidence against it is so overwhelming is it? The know-it-all doesn’t seem to know very much does he, or at least he portends not to.
